We're looking for Nursing Informatics Specialists to help train and evaluate AI systems that will power the next generation of healthcare technology. You'll bring real-world nursing knowledge to AI projects, ensuring clinical accuracy, workflow realism, and patient safety are built into AI from the ground up.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working with Alignerr — a company that partners with the world's leading AI research labs.

  • Organization: Alignerr

What You'll Do

  • Apply your clinical nursing knowledge to evaluate and improve AI-generated healthcare content, documentation, and workflows
  • Review AI outputs related to EHR systems, clinical decision support, and nursing practice for accuracy and real-world applicability
  • Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe recommendations in AI-generated clinical content
  • Translate nursing workflows and care standards into structured feedback that helps AI systems learn
  • Assess the quality of AI responses to clinical scenarios, flagging anything that conflicts with evidence-based practice
  • Provide detailed written feedback using structured evaluation frameworks

Who You Are

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with hands-on patient care experience
  • Familiar with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of clinical documentation workflows and nursing informatics concepts
  • Able to critically evaluate clinical content for accuracy, safety, and relevance
  • Clear and precise written communicator
  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously

Nice to Have

  • Experience in clinical informatics, health IT, or nursing education
  • Background in data annotation, quality review, or clinical auditing
  • Familiarity with AI tools or language model evaluation
  • Advanced certifications in nursing informatics (e.g., RN-BC in Nursing Informatics)
