About the Role
What if your fluency in Dutch could directly shape how AI communicates and evaluates professionals across the Netherlands and beyond? We're looking for Dutch language experts based in Amsterdam and the wider Netherlands to evaluate and improve AI-generated recruitment assessments — ensuring the AI accurately, fairly, and ethically judges candidates against complex job requirements.
Your work will involve reviewing AI outputs, conducting deep audits of Dutch resumes and candidate data, and providing the kind of nuanced judgment that only a skilled human can deliver. You'll help train AI systems to understand the subtleties of professional Dutch while strictly enforcing legal and ethical guardrails.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No tech background needed — just a deep command of Dutch, professional judgment, and a sharp eye for quality.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated assessments of job candidates against complex job descriptions and requirements within the Dutch market
- Perform detailed Match Classifications (Match, Partial Match, No Match) based strictly on source evidence from Dutch resumes and LinkedIn profiles
- Enforce critical safety guardrails by identifying and blocking "Forbidden to Evaluate" criteria (e.g., protected characteristics, personality traits, and legal non-inference data)
- Conduct rigorous Explanation Quality Reviews to detect AI hallucinations, unsupported claims, or grammatical flaws in Dutch-language outputs
- Suggest clear, idiomatic, and contextually appropriate improvements to the AI's written tone and reasoning
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule (approx. 15–20 minutes per in-depth evaluation)
Who You Are
- Native or near-native fluency in Dutch (strictly required to analyse nuanced professional text and local recruitment terminology)
- Strong written communication skills in Dutch and English (for project guidelines)
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach to evaluation and close reading
- Comfortable following dense, comprehensive rubrics with numerous complex edge cases
- Strong ethical awareness regarding legally sensitive hiring categories and workplace diversity in the Netherlands
- Able to articulate clear reasoning behind your quality and matching judgements
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
- Experience in Recruitment, HR, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations within the Netherlands
- Background in translation, localization, editing, QA, or data annotation
- Knowledge of Dutch professional norms and recruitment culture in the Amsterdam job market
- Experience with quality assurance, research, or critical analysis

- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
- Contribute to cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
