About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for professional South African voice actors and voice-over artists to record natural, authentic speech for leading AI research teams — helping the next generation of AI systems truly understand how real people talk.
This is a paid contract role involving in-person studio recording sessions at a professionally equipped facility local to you. This project is AI-related but does not involve voice cloning.

- Accent Required: South African English (native or near-native)
What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational South African English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
- Deliver realistic, human-sounding speech that feels unscripted and authentic
- Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery as needed
- Bring your performance instincts to make conversations feel genuine and natural
Who You Are
- A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with recording experience
- Native or near-native South African English speaker with a strong, authentic accent
- Fluent in English at a working communication level
- Comfortable with natural dialogue and conversational performance styles
- Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
- Currently based in South Africa
Nice to Have
- Acting or broader performance background
- Experience in broadcast, podcasting, or prior professional studio recording
- Comfort performing both solo monologue and two-person dialogue formats
