About the Role
What if your years of biology training could directly shape how AI reasons through the most complex problems in genetics, biotechnology, and bioinformatics? We're looking for Biology Specialists with advanced degrees to help build and refine the AI models that will define the next generation of scientific intelligence.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for researchers and subject-matter experts who want to apply their expertise in a high-impact, forward-looking capacity — no prior AI experience required.

What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply deep expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines to design rigorous, complex problem statements
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, depth, and methodological soundness
- Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and precision across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Hold a Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, etc.)
- Possess strong expertise in one or more of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
- Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or analytical tasks
- Exceptionally clear communicator — both in writing and in structuring complex scientific ideas
- Detail-oriented and methodical, with a commitment to scientific accuracy
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in peer review, academic publishing, or research quality assurance
- Familiarity with AI tools or language model outputs as an end user
- Experience designing problem sets, assessments, or research challenges
