About the Role
What if your deep expertise in machine learning could directly shape how the next generation of AI systems reason, plan, and solve real-world problems? We're looking for Senior Machine Learning Experts to author high-fidelity reasoning traces that teach large language models how to think — step by step, decision by decision.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for senior-level ML practitioners who understand model behavior at an architectural level and can translate that knowledge into structured, training-ready data.

What You'll Do
- Author complex, high-fidelity reasoning traces that document how an LLM should plan, use tools, and make decisions across sophisticated real-world tasks
- Design and implement data strategies that help AI models navigate intricate, multi-step decision-making scenarios
- Review and mentor structured traces produced by other contributors, ensuring quality, clarity, and logical rigor
- Apply senior-level architectural insights to ensure reasoning outputs reflect reliable, generalizable model behavior
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Deeply experienced in machine learning, with a strong focus on model reasoning, evaluation, or training
- Skilled at decomposing complex technical problems into clear, logical, well-documented steps
- Familiar with advanced LLM evaluation and training methodologies
- Comfortable producing structured written outputs that meet rigorous quality standards
- Self-directed and consistent when working independently without close supervision
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation systems
- Top-tier Kaggle competition results (Grandmaster or Master level), demonstrating advanced model performance and feature engineering expertise
- Background in AI research, MLOps, or applied ML in production environments
- Experience designing or auditing training datasets for large-scale models
