About the Role

What if your deep expertise in cancer clinical trials could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about oncology — influencing research that could one day impact millions of patients?

We're looking for experienced Oncology Clinical Researchers to bring real-world clinical rigor into cutting-edge AI development. You'll evaluate, guide, and improve how advanced AI systems handle oncology trial data, regulatory standards, and clinical decision-making — ensuring the science is right.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for oncology professionals who want to contribute to something genuinely frontier — on their own schedule.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated oncology content for clinical accuracy, scientific rigor, and regulatory alignment
  • Apply your expertise in clinical trial design — including protocol development, patient enrollment, and compliance standards — to assess AI outputs
  • Analyze AI-generated interpretations of cancer trial data, including safety profiles, efficacy endpoints, and biomarker results
  • Evaluate the quality and accuracy of AI-produced regulatory and scientific reporting against FDA/EMA submission standards
  • Provide structured, expert feedback that directly shapes how AI models understand real-world oncology data
  • Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Experienced in designing and managing oncology clinical trials from protocol development through data readout
  • Strong analytical background in oncology clinical data — endpoints, safety profiles, and biomarkers
  • Familiar with regulatory submission standards for agencies such as the FDA or EMA
  • Detail-oriented and capable of translating deep clinical knowledge into clear, structured evaluation
  • Comfortable working independently without close supervision

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Background in translational oncology or biomarker research
  • Experience contributing to peer-reviewed publications or regulatory dossiers
  • Familiarity with AI tools or clinical informatics platforms

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems being built alongside the world's leading AI research labs
  • Shape how AI models reason about real oncology science — your expertise has direct, tangible impact
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the intellectual depth of meaningful, high-stakes scientific work
