About the Role

Identity is at the root of most modern security breaches — and AI systems need to understand why. We're looking for experienced IAM professionals to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models by analyzing real-world identity and access control scenarios.

At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI. Your hands-on security expertise will directly shape how AI reasons about IAM risk, privilege escalation, and zero-trust architecture.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Analyze IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses and misconfigurations
  • Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity-related failure modes
  • Review zero-trust models and evaluate access design decisions for correctness and risk
  • Generate and validate realistic identity security scenarios used to train and benchmark AI systems
  • Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI reason more accurately about enterprise security

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms
  • Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review workflows
  • Familiar with how identity failures occur and how attackers exploit them in real environments
  • Detail-oriented and able to communicate technical concepts clearly in writing
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with platforms like Okta, Azure AD, Ping, or SailPoint
  • Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or security architecture
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST
  • Prior experience with AI, data labeling, or model evaluation workflows

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems with top research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule
  • Freelance autonomy: choose your hours, work from anywhere
  • Meaningful impact: your expertise helps build AI that understands security the right way
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
