About the Role

We're looking for Korean language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for Korean language learning and instruction. Your linguistic insight and teaching experience will directly shape how AI understands, assesses, and communicates in Korean — making a real impact on learners around the world.

  • Commitment: Minimum 15 hours/week, fully asynchronous

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated Korean speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
  • Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
  • Apply expert judgment to identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps
  • Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and pedagogically sound Korean
  • Provide structured feedback that strengthens AI tutoring and language-learning models
  • Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts

Who You Are

  • Native-level proficiency in Korean
  • Experience teaching Korean or evaluating learner language
  • Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
  • Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR proficiency frameworks
  • Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience in language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing
  • Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology
  • Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
