About the Role
What if your years of biology training could directly shape how AI reasons about genetics, disease, and life itself? We're looking for biology experts — Masters and PhD holders — to tackle advanced scientific problems that teach cutting-edge AI models to think more rigorously about the life sciences.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers and specialists who want to put their expertise to work on something genuinely meaningful — without the constraints of a traditional lab or academic environment.

What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, or bioinformatics to design challenging, nuanced problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, depth, and rigor
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve how AI models handle complex biological concepts
- Ensure scientific clarity, precision, and depth across all deliverables
Who You Are
- Hold a Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field — Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or equivalent
- Have strong hands-on expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
- Comfortable writing Python or R for research, analysis, or data processing
- Exceptional written communicator — you can explain complex science clearly and precisely
- Detail-oriented and rigorous in your approach to scientific problems
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in computational biology, systems biology, or bioinformatics pipelines
- Experience designing or reviewing exam questions, research assessments, or scientific curricula
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning tools used in biological research
