$40-80/hrRemoteFreelanceSTEM

About the Role

What if your expertise in healthcare analytics could directly shape how AI understands and interprets clinical data — influencing systems that will support better patient outcomes for millions of people?

We're looking for an experienced Clinical Business Intelligence Manager to lead analytics design and delivery for cutting-edge AI projects. You'll guide BI teams in transforming complex clinical and operational data into trusted, actionable insights — and in doing so, help define how the next generation of AI models understands healthcare.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for seasoned healthcare analytics professionals who want meaningful, high-impact work on their own schedule.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a business intelligence team in building dashboards, reports, and analytics pipelines that support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Maintain and optimize BI infrastructure — including data models, SQL queries, and reporting tools — ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance at scale
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and performance datasets to uncover meaningful trends and surface insights that drive care quality and organizational efficiency
  • Translate complex, multi-source healthcare data into clear, trusted outputs for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure clinical data is structured, validated, and ready for model training and evaluation

Who You Are

  • Experienced healthcare analytics professional with a strong background in clinical BI, data management, or health informatics
  • Proven ability to design, build, and manage end-to-end BI systems — including dashboards, reporting pipelines, and data models
  • Comfortable working with clinical, operational, and administrative datasets in regulated healthcare environments
  • Strong communicator who can translate data complexity into clear narratives for clinical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-directed and reliable — you deliver quality work independently without needing close supervision

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD coding)
  • Experience working with or evaluating large language models (LLMs) in a healthcare context
  • Background in population health, quality reporting, or value-based care analytics

Why Join Us

  • Work at the intersection of healthcare intelligence and frontier AI — a rare and genuinely exciting space
  • Fully remote and flexible — structure your hours around your life, not the other way around
  • Freelance autonomy with the substance of meaningful, technically complex work
  • Direct exposure to how advanced AI models are trained and evaluated in high-stakes domains
  • Collaborate with world-class AI research teams and labs on projects that matter
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
