About the Role

We're looking for Prompt Writers to craft the questions, scenarios, and challenges that push AI models to their limits — and help make them smarter, safer, and more capable.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to strong writers with creative minds and a knack for asking the right questions. No technical or AI background required — just intellectual curiosity and a love of language.

What You'll Do
- Craft original, diverse, and imaginative prompts across a wide range of topics — from science and philosophy to creative writing and everyday reasoning
- Design questions and scenarios specifically engineered to challenge AI logic, creativity, and accuracy
- Develop prompts that probe for safety, consistency, and model limitations
- Follow style guides and structured prompt-writing frameworks to ensure quality and consistency
- Iterate and refine your prompts based on project feedback and evolving research needs
- Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments at your own pace
Who You Are
- A creative thinker with strong written communication skills in English
- Naturally curious — you enjoy exploring ideas across many different subject areas
- Able to write clearly and precisely on a broad range of topics
- Comfortable following structured guidelines and applying them consistently
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No prior AI, tech, or research experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in writing, journalism, education, philosophy, or creative fields
- Experience with copywriting, content creation, or instructional design
- Familiarity with AI tools or chatbots as an end user
- Broad general knowledge spanning multiple domains
