About the Role
At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. We're looking for Population Health Informaticists to bring their expertise to projects that sit at the intersection of public health and artificial intelligence.
Your domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands, analyzes, and communicates population-level health data — helping build smarter tools that can identify disparities, surface trends, and support better health outcomes at scale.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your schedule.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate and improve AI-generated analysis of population health datasets, identifying gaps, errors, and opportunities for deeper insight
- Review AI outputs related to health trends, disparities, surveillance data, and intervention strategies for accuracy and soundness
- Apply your expertise to assess dashboards, data pipelines, and reporting frameworks produced or described by AI systems
- Translate complex population health concepts into structured, actionable feedback that improves AI quality
- Work asynchronously and independently on task-based assignments across a range of public and community health topics
Who You Are
- Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
- Skilled in data analysis and visualization — comfortable evaluating dashboards, metrics, and reporting outputs
- Able to assess and communicate the quality of analytical reasoning clearly and consistently
- Strong written communicator who can translate complex data insights into plain language
- Detail-oriented and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
- Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, health informatics, or related public health fields
- Familiarity with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks
- Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, SQL, R, or Python in a health context
- Knowledge of health equity frameworks or social determinants of health
